More information about ADHD Life Coaching and how ADHD with Angie can work for you!
ADHD Life Coaching is an invaluable resource for those of us with ADHD, as coaches focus on helping clients better manage their daily lives. An ADHD Life Coach supports the self-awareness journey that helps clients understand the true source of their ADHD struggles while empowering each client to achieve their goals. ADHD Life Coaches are prepared for the unique challenges that ADHD presents in our lives while partnering with the client in a supportive, collaborative, non-judgmental, goal-oriented process - together.
ADHD Life Coaches are personal trainers for your brain! I support you in working toward your goals by helping you develop:
Sign up for a 30 minute complimentary Pick My Brain session in the packages tab. Here you can ask me questions, discuss the ADHD barriers that are getting in your way, and get to know each other. From there, we will decide together which plan of action is the best fit for you.
Mostly, this is up to you. Coaching is a process of making the changes you want and I support you in staying focused and meeting your goals. There doesn’t need to be an intense effort to create noticeable results. Set the tone that best supports your life. Come with something you would like coaching on to each session, I will follow your lead as we explore your obstacles and create new strategies.
The most effective treatment is specific to each person and includes the treatment that positively impacts the client's daily life. Research shows the most effective combination of treatment is ADHD medications, along with ADHD Life Coaching and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
This is a great question! Your coaching session is intended to be time focused on YOU. I ask that you have an “agenda” in mind before we talk. Something you want to work on or create change around. Then, plan to hop on our call at our scheduled time, take a deep breath, and we will get to work.
“Coaching work” is designed to help you take the actions or make the shifts between appointments that will move you to the next level. Spending time focused on your goals between our sessions, keeps the coaching practice with you throughout the week. Doing the coaching work helps you progress faster than you would without it.
The duration of coaching depends upon individual needs. I ask that you consider at least a three-month commitment. Most of my clients work with me for 3-6 months. That time frame will allow us to establish a solid foundation, thoroughly identify your challenges and strengths, design and practice new strategies and habits, experience progress, and create lasting change. My goal is to empower you - not enable you.
